CEO, U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP)

I am in Vietnam for the next few days building upon our strong collaboration with the National Institute of Drug Quality Control (NIDQC). Our meetings began with an important renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding with the NIDQC and US Pharmacopeia to increase awareness of the importance of quality and safety of medicines, participate in joint education and training opportunities, and build upon our enduring collaboration in Vietnam.

We are proud to continue our decades-long collaboration with NIDQC to advance the quality of medicines. Recent collaborative efforts include educational, training, and scientific initiatives, such as the pilot project on validating procedures for monitoring nitrosamine impurities to strengthen Vietnam's medicines supply chain integrity work and apply across USP’s work globally. To learn more, check out our Quality Matters blog post and stay tuned for more updates on our work in Vietnam. ⤵ #GlobalHealth #SupplyChainResilience

Great work Ron. I provided some training in Vietnam for the USP a few years ago. The USP is an important part of their quality systems. Glad to see the connection is still strong.
